 It is a gallery guided tour of some specific permanent exhibitions of Salar Jung museum to view, understand and learn about the personal collection of Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III. Â

One of the only three national Museums in India, and the third largest museum in the nation, the Salar Jung museum is the pride of Hyderabad. The museum exhibits the collection of Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan Salar Jung III, the former Prime Minister of the Seventh Nizam. The articles in the museum are from different periods and a multitude of world cultures, and the assembling of them at the museum makes its collection eclectic and attracts a million tourists every year. The Museums library has a rich collection of printed books and manuscripts covering diverse subjects as the Salar Jung were great patrons of literature.Â
